IMPORTANT NOTES ON THE OPERATION OF TRANSFERS ON THE ISLAND


  • The transportation service for transfers is provided in cab vehicles on the island (by regulation of the island authorities).
  • For flights arriving or departing between 21:00 and 06:59, a surcharge of $7 USD per passenger per flight will be applied. 
  • Each passenger is entitled to transport 1 suitcase plus 1 carry-on bag; any additional baggage will incur a net cost of $7 USD, round-trip. 
  • The service is available on a private basis for groups of 1 to 6 people, while for other capacities it is offered on a shared basis. The maximum capacity of the transports is 14 passengers. 
  • Each child over 3 years of age pays the established fare per passenger.

Breakfast at the hotel. You will explore the best of the island with the complete City Tour with guide-accompanying guide, which offers the unique opportunity to visit different tourist sites of the island. Discover traditional sites such as First Baptist Church, the West View, Island House Museum, Naval Museum or the Hoyo Soplador. Visits to three (3) of these tourist sites, which may vary according to availability. 


Availability: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Duration: 3 hours and 30 minutes

Suggested time: 08:30 a.m. or 13:30 p.m. 

Includes: Hotel pick up, beverages available at each stop: beer, 

soda, water, rum; snack package for each passenger.

Day 3. Johny Cay Aquarium with lunch in shared

 Breakfast at the hotel. Boat ride to the nearby cays (Haynes Cay + Rose Cay (Aquarium) + Johnny Cay). Arriving at Haynes Cay you will cross the new floating bridge Rose Cay (Aquarium) where you can enjoy its abundant marine fauna in crystal clear waters. Then you will return and enjoy a delicious lunch, saw fish or snapper as you wish, or grilled chicken, coconut rice and patacón or Bread Fruit. Then you will continue the tour to Johnny Cay Island, this is famous for its white sandy beaches that embrace the greenery of the palm trees and give a cool shade, the beaches are perfect for walking in some areas, where exotic corals stand out creating beautiful crystal clear water pools also observe the majestic iguanas that live in this park.

*Restrictions for infants, adults over 65 years old, pregnant women and people with disabilities (including wheelchairs or those who need special assistance to board and disembark the boats). 1. Transfers: 

- For flights arriving or departing between 21:00 and 06:59, a surcharge of $7 USD per passenger per flight will apply. 

- Each passenger is entitled to transport 1 suitcase plus 1 carry-on bag; any additional baggage will incur a net cost of $7 USD, roundtrip. 

- The service is available on a private basis for groups of 1 to 6 people, while for other capacities it is offered on a shared basis. The maximum capacity of the transports is 14 passengers. 

- In case of choosing a single trip, an additional 60% will be applied to the original fare. 

- Each child over 3 years old pays the established fare per passenger. 


2. Return to the Island: 

- Frequency: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. 

- Pick up at Decameron hotels and for other hotels please consult with the sales department. Times and schedules subject to change without availability. 


3. Jhony Kay: 

- Operates daily and the meeting point and time is at Tonino's Marina, Over Receptour Kiosk. At 09:30 am. 

- Restrictions apply for infants, adults over 65 years old, pregnant women and people with disabilities (including wheelchairs or those who need special assistance to board and disembark the boats).

- The tour may present variations due to changes and weather conditions. In case of closure of the keys due to bad weather or cleaning day, an alternative tour of the bay and mangroves will be made. If the closure affects Johnny Cay, 1 drink (water or soda) will be offered during the tour, and if the closure is in Aquarium, the same offer will apply.
